Morning Walk · October 2026

Morning Walk

As a working woman, one of my favorite escapes is a morning walk. When I start my day, the light wraps my face like a velvety blanket and lifts the stillness I feel at my desk.

Morning Glory — detail

I am fascinated by the history of walking as a symbol of human endurance and resilience. Walking shaped how we evolved and thrived. Through Morning Walk, I try to carry that same resilience, along with a fondness for the unknown.

From the walk to the canvas

Sketches, drawings and photos help me capture the movement of each walk, and the changing scenery became the focus. In this series I ask how to draw the power of change and motion, together with the whimsy and euphoria of simply being away from work.
